Movie Review of Bol Bachchan

Bol Bachchan which is said to be a laughing ride and has a double role of Abhishek Bachchan and item number of Amitabh Bachchan has finally released. The movie is liked by the public and they gives a thumps up to it. But what our critics say.

Bol Bachchan opens with a blindingly bright, not exactly enjoyable, song featuring the original Bachchans and Ajay Devgn. As the credits roll, Bachchan Senior and Junior mouth the former’s dialogue from yesteryears. At the end of the song, Amitabh comes on to say he’s not in the film. By the end of it, you know why he isn’t.

If you perceive vigilantly, you will observe that most of our movies have, swiftly, tilted towards the desi flavor all over again. Movies that we enjoyed thoroughly in the 1970s and 1980s. ‘Bol Bachchan’, the remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s ‘Gol Maal’ [1979], is also seeped in desi flavor, with everything so larger than life. It seems like one’s watching the desi cinema of yore, albeit with a bigger canvas, better technique and of course, present-day stars. Rohit Shetty follows the same mantra that the badshah of entertainers, Manmohan Desai, followed: Entertainment, entertainment, entertainment!

Though Rohit Shetty borrows the essence from Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s immensely likeable ‘Gol Maal’, he twists and twirls the original premise to unrecognizable proportions. Even otherwise, when you adapt a movie that was released in the 1970s, you ought to modify it to suit the current setting. The mindset is different and so is the movie-going audience. The purists, who hold a grouse against remaking classics and call it sacrilegious, are sure to fume and rant, but that’s okay.

There would be fans for all genres of films. Some may like action, while some like to watch melodrama, but comedy is the only genre that everyone would love to watch. Bol Bachchan will also stand on top of this list. This film is said to be inspired from Gol Maal, a blockbuster comedy flick, released in 1979. There is no doubt that this hardcore entertainer will enter the 100-crore club, this year. The magical duo of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, have teamed up again, for this film.

Movie Review of Teri Meri Kahani

‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ is the story of two people who meet in three different eras. Shahid Kapoor plays Javed, Govind and Krish , while Priyanka Chopra is enacting Aradhana, Rukhsar and Radha. Prachi Desai and Neha Sharma will be seen in guest appearances.

The climax of the film will reveal whether the love wins over the destiny or not.

The songs of the film are already chartbusters. Composers Sajid-Wajid have come up with some youthful and peppy songs for the film. ‘Mukhtsar’, ‘Allah jane’, and ‘Humse pyar’ are already hit.

Film starts in the era of British colony amidst the freedom struggle in the year 1910. Javed a muslim boy falls in love with a Aaradhana punjabi girl and their story begins to flourish but does it reach to its destiny..!!

Second story takes you to 1960 era where an aspiring music director Govind falls in love with a successful actress Rukhsar.

The third and the last story take place in recent times in 2012 in England where love sparks between Radha and Krissh.

Kunal has splendidly ended each story with no inter linking of stories. Lead characters have no idea that they have met in past.
