A good news for X-Men fans. The shooting of the sequel of the X-Men has begun. Or rather the sets are all ready and shooting will begin with the beginning of August. The shooting of this $100 million-plus sequel will filming at Sydney’s Fox Studios next week.
Previously, the film got delayed for various reasons. First the director of the previous movies Darren Aronofsky dropped out as director and experienced further scheduling issues when a massive tsunami hit Japan last year, but it’s finally back on track with James Mangold in the director’s chair.
Hugh Jackman will continue with the title role of Wolverine and so also his fight against the mutant in the movie. Will Yun Lee is playing the role of villain mutant The Silver Samurai in the movie. Recent reports confirmed that Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima will also have roles to play in the movie.
Confusion on who will play the important role of The Viper is now over. After Jessica Biel refuse to play the role of The Viper, the director Mangold has shortlisted Russian actress Svetlana Khodchenkova to play the role of The Viper.
The Viper is a very comman character in all the Marvel comics. Somehwere it plays the role of ally and in other a potentail threat. It is yet to know that kind of role Svetlana will play as The Viper in the movie.
A sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the new comic book movie will have Wolverine travel to Japan to try and discover who he is and go up against the mutant villain known as The Silver Samurai. The film is schedule to hit the theaters on 26 July, 2013.
