After the commercial success of the DVD of Breaking Dawn part 1 now everyone are looking forward for the release of the DVD of Hunger Game. The movie Hunger Game did outstanding business and same is expected from the DVD as well. The next movie in the series Catching Fire will not release before November 2013. So till then re reading the Hunger Game series and reliving the moments of the movie are option left.
The Hunger Games will be available in DVD, Blu-ray, and digital download formats at midnight on August 18th, 2012. In addition to the normal fare you would expect to see, both the DVD and Blu-ray disc sets will include extra special features:

“over three hours of unreleased material, with features that provide insight into how the film was made, interviews with the cast and crew, and details about some of the story lines that differed from the book — like President Snow’s character (Donald Sutherland) and the role of the game maker (Wes Bentley). An eight-part documentary entitled The World is Watching: Making of The Hunger Games delves into the behind-the-scenes aspect of creating the film. The extras also include the full-length “Propaganda Film” shown during the Reaping.”

The DVD and Blu-ray will be available for pre-order starting May 25th. Both sets consist of two discs and include a digital copy.
